If you can’t make it to the State fair…
Come see a show that really swings!
Break out that Zoot Suit and brush up on your Lindy Hop because The Butte Big Band is taking over the stage at the Montana Tech Auditorium on Wednesday, July 21st from 7-9 P.M. In their 23rd year of performance, the fifteen member big band plays jazz, swing, and ragtime from the 30’s, 40’s, and 50’s such as Jump, Jive, and Wail and Stray Cat Strut.
This performance is also a benefit for the Butte Symphony Association, which is also Montana’s oldest symphony, entering their 61st season. Audiences will be delighted to see several members of the orchestra playing in the Big Band, as well. Live entertainment, punch, and prizes (including three tickets to An-Ri-Ra) are on the agenda for fun.
Tickets to the concert will be sold at the door for $9 each. For more information, please contact Jennifer at the Butte Symphony office by calling (406) 723-5590 or email buttesymphony@in-tch.com.
